Body found in undergrowth near Wrotham Road, Gravesend, amid search for missing man

A body has been found amid a search for a missing man.

Police were called just after 3.30pm on Monday (October 21) to a report of a body being found in undergrowth near the A227 Wrotham Road in Gravesend.

Forensics were spotted at the scene near the A227 Wrotham Road

Officers and paramedics attended the scene where a man was pronounced dead.

Forensics were spotted at the back of Watermans Park development by several drivers.

Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of a 39-year-old man from Erith, who was reported missing on Saturday, October 5 have been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
