The body of a man has been found in woodland.

Kent Police was called just after 9am on Thursday to a report of a body of a man being found in woodland near Thames Way, Northfleet.

A spokeswoman for Kent Police said: “Officers attended the incident and the death is not being treated as suspicious.

“The man’s next of kin has been informed and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
