A road was closed after a boy's leg was broken when he was hit by a car outside a school.
It happened in Old Road East, Gravesend, near St Joseph's Preparatory, just before 4pm.
Police spokesman, Martin Very, said: "Officers and ambulance crews attended the scene where a child was treated for a leg injury.
"He is being taken to a local hospital for further medical attention.
"The road was closed while officers dealt with the incident and is about to be reopened."
The boy's injuries aren't thought to be life-threatening.
