A car was found ablaze in a street off a busy main road in Gravesend.

Fire crews were called to an incident in Dennis Road, off Wrotham Road this morning shortly after 9.30am.

One fire engine attended and crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.

No casualties were reported and the incident was declared safe shortly after.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service says the cause is believed to be accidental.
