Woman knocked off mobility scooter by car in Lord Street, Gravesend

A woman has been taken to hospital after being knocked off her mobility scooter by a car.

Emergency services were called to Lord Street, Gravesend, at around 12.40pm to the collision.

Police spokesman Martin Very said: "Officers and an ambulance crew attended the scene where a woman was treated for injuries before being taken to a local hospital for further medical attention."

The severity of her injuries aren't yet know and traffic in the street was stopped while paramedics attended.

The ambulance service have been approached for more information.
