CCTV showing the last known image of a missing Gravesend man has been released by police in a renewed appeal for information.

Anthony Kaila was last known to be in the Old Road West area of the town at around 3pm on Wednesday, July 29.

The CCTV image shows the 53-year-old inside the B&M store in New Road, at around 1.10pm the previous day.

Mr Kaila is described as being around 6ft 2ins tall with a slim build and receding brown hair. He also wears glasses.

Insp Julia Bassindale, from Kent Police, said: "We’re continuing to assess every possible line of inquiry to locate Anthony and are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"As the CCTV shows, he is last known to have been wearing dark tracksuit bottoms, a grey shirt and a long sleeved grey hooded top.

"I would encourage anyone with information, no matter how minor it may seem, to report it to us."
