CCTV has been released following reports of a man in possession of a possible firearm.

Police have shared the image as part of their investigation into the suspicious incident which happened in Gravesend.

Officers were called at 6.10am on Saturday to the Pelham Road area.

An extensive search was carried out but no one matching the man’s description was found.

Detective Chief Inspector Chris Rabey said: “An investigation to establish the full circumstances is ongoing and our officers are continuing to explore several lines of enquiry to identify and locate the suspect.

“It is important we speak to the man pictured and I would urge anyone who recognises him or has any other information to call us.”
