A man who went missing last night has been found safe and well.

Hugh Whyte, from Gravesend, is around 5ft 11ins tall and bald with a short black beard.

The 53-year-old is of a large build and was wearing a grey t-shirt, black jacket, black trousers, and a grey beanie.

Police have thanked everyone who assisted with their inquiries and shared the appeal.
