Drug dealer pleads guilty after arrest in Northfleet

A man who went on the run from police has pleaded guilty of possessing cocaine with intent to supply.

Barry Keywood, was put on Kent Police's list of Most Wanted suspects but was arrested in Northfleet on Monday March 23 on suspicion of failing to appear at court and breaching a court order.

He was subsequently remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court the next day, having previously been charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply on March 13 2017.

He pleaded guilty to the charge and was released on bail, ahead of a sentencing hearing to be held at Maidstone Crown Court on a date to be determined.

Kent Police have confirmed they are no longer appealing to locate him.
