An e-scooter rider has been taken to hospital after a colliding with a car.

The rider was treated at the scene of the crash in Dover Road, Northfleet just after 1pm today (Aug 19).

They were then transported to Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham for further medical treatment.

A spokesman for the police said officers attended alongside an ambulance crew and there were no serious injuries reported.

“The e-scooter has been recovered to a police station,” they added.
