Ebbsfleet chairman Duncan Holt was due to meet manager Liam Daish for a second time on Wednesday to try to determine a way forward in Blue Square South next season.

The two men met a fortnight ago, just days after relegation was confirmed but were this time looking at player budgets and whether the club will be staying full-time or reverting to part-time status.

Mr Holt (pictured below) said: "We have one or two scenarios close to what we had last year and one or two which are not.

"We were only able to give Liam bits and pieces at the start of last season but that didn’t work and this time we will be looking to give him something more to work with.

"We hope to have budgets ready for MyFootball Club members to vote on in five or six days."

Daish (above), back from a trip to Spain, said on Tuesday: "I’m not really able to comment about much because I’m waiting for answers myself.

"We will be playing in a lower league and I want to find out what we are doing and whether we are looking to bounce straight back.

"I spoke to the players a couple of weeks ago but I haven’t heard from anybody yet saying they have gone elsewhere."
