Ebbsfleet leapfrogged fellow Blue Square Premier strugglers Grays courtesy of a 2-1 victory at Stonebridge Road on Boxing Day.

Fleet took the lead after 10 minutes when Magno Vieira latched on to a Leon Crook clearance and struck the ball beyond keeper Preston Edwards.

The visitors levelled just after the half-hour mark when Grays counter-attacked and Jake Reid drove home the equaliser.

The winner came after 79 minutes when Ricky Shakes sped through the visiting defence and fired the ball into the net.
