Ebbsfleet United boss Liam Daish was waiting expectantly for the loan transfer window to open this week, eager to boost his depleted squad.

Daish (pictured) has certainly been leaving nothing to chance this week, and was looking at possible targets prior to the window opening on Wednesday.

The Fleet boss, who was watching a reserve game on Tuesday afternoon, said: "If I can do some business I will. It’s pretty apparent I need to add to the squad.

"I am being proactive, looking at players who could be available, but whether something will happen when the window opens I don’t know."

What would you like to see Daish do in the transfer market? Have your say below.
