Two fire crews battled a blaze in a pub cellar for an hour.

Thames-side firefighters were called out to The Peacock in Peacock Street, Gravesend, at 2.45pm today.

They spent an hour tackling the fire, which had spread underneath some panelling.

Fire crews were called to the blaze on Boxing Day

Ten firefighters battled the fire using breathing apparatus.

Nobody was injured and the cause of the fire is not suspicious.
