Wrotham Road closed in Gravesend for five days of gas works

Drivers are likely to face delays in Gravesend town centre this week after SGN gas network announced the start of five days of work.

Kent County Council announced Wrotham Road will be closed near the junction of Zion Place from today, with traffic prohibited for up to five days or until the works are complete.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via A227 Wrotham Road, B261 Old Road West, Windmill Street, Zion Place and vice versa.
