A car and a lorry have been involved in a collision near the A2.

Brewers Road in Shorne was partially blocked as a result of the accident this morning, with motorists warned to expect heavy traffic.

The vehicles collided at around 9.30am and police and ambulance crews were called.

No serious injuries were reported and the road is now clear.
