A man has been arrested following a police helicopter manhunt.

Officers were called at 10.24am today after a home had reportedly been burgled in Palmer Avenue, Gravesend.

Police carried out a search of the area, with assistance provided by the National Police Air Service.

A 31-year-old man from Gravesend was arrested on suspicion of burglary and remains in custody as enquiries continue.
