Part of a block of flats was destroyed in a blaze in Gravesend this morning.

Firefighters from Dartford and Strood were called to Milton Place at 2.30am after a fire broke out in a bedroom of a flat on the fourth floor.

Crews were at the scene for an hour and a half.

Nobody was injured in the blaze and the cause is not yet known.
