Two teenagers stabbed in Gravesend town centre on New Year’s Day

A manhunt is underway after teenagers were stabbed in a town centre on New Year's Day.
Violence is said to have flared up near Pilots Place and Bentley Street in Gravesend at about 3.10am this morning, with boys aged 18 and 15 sustaining wounds.
Officers and medics were scrambled to the scene shortly after the incident before the teenagers were taken to a London hospital.
A police spokesman said: “They were both taken to a London hospital and neither of the victims' injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
“An investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing and officers remain in the area carrying out inquiries.”
