Katie Price's boyfriend, Kris Boyson, has appeared in court accused of threatening a police officer.

The 30-year-old personal trainer, from Istead Rise, near Gravesend, is accused of verbally abusing PC Blundell on October 11 following a row with a paparazzo.

Two days previously the couple had been on a boozy night out in Bexleyheath which culminated in her £130,000 pink Range Rover crashing.

Miss Price was found slumped over the back seats and Boyson was in the front passenger seat.

Last month the former glamour model, 40, was cleared of drink driving but was fined £1,500 and banned from the roads for three months after being convicted of being drunk in charge of a vehicle.

Boyson was charged with using language which made PC Blundell believe immediate violence might be used against him after a confrontation in Haven Close, also in Istead Rise.

Smartly-dressed Boyson appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court this morning for a brief hearing and was remanded on unconditional bail to return to the court at a later date.
