“I wonder what they are waiting for?” thought one sharp-eyed reader who spotted these seagulls lined up neatly on a groyne.

Amateur photographer Anna Armstrong, 20, saw the gulls as she walked along the Promenade area in Gravesend.

Anna, who lives in St James’s Avenue, volunteers with the British Heart Foundation Furniture and Electrical store in New Road and photography is a hobby.
