25-year-old, from Northfleet, arrested after man left in hospital on Christmas Day after 'incident'

A man has been arrested after an incident at a petrol station on Christmas Day left another man in hospital.

A 25-year-old, from Northfleet, was detained on Boxing Day on suspicion of assault after a man was left with a serious head injury.

Officers were called to the Esso petrol station, in Milton Road, Gravesend, just before 11pm on Tuesday, December 25, after they received reports of a disturbance inside the property.

The injured man was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Police have released CCTV images of two suspects they wanted to speak to.
