Man arrested for allegedly hurling racist abuse at Ebbsfleet United goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore

A football fan was arrested on suspicion of making racist comments towards Ebbsfleet United’s goalkeeper.
A 20-year-old man who is alleged to have racially abused Fleet player Nathan Ashmore during the final minutes of Ebbsfleet versus Bromley on Boxing Day, remains in custody.
Ashmore confronted fans who were standing behind his goal before being given a yellow card by the referee for time wasting.
The person from Biggin Hill was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence.
