John Saunders, 29, charged with four offences after woman threatened with a knife in Betfred 'robbery'

A man was charged after a woman was 'threatened with a knife' during an incident at a betting shop.
John Saunders, of Tennyson Avenue, Canterbury, was arrested on suspicion of robbery earlier this week.
It comes after Betfred betting shop, in King Street, Gravesend, was targeted at around 8pm on Monday March 11.
A member of staff had a knife held to her neck while a quantity of cash was taken.
Police spokesman James Walker said: "John Saunders has been charged with robbery, burglary, false imprisonment and threatening a person with a bladed article.
"The 29-year-old has been remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court today."
