Later the same evening it was alleged a fraudulent transaction was made at a shop in Norfolk Road using a bank card stolen in the earlier robbery.

Two months later on February 27 officers received a report that a burglary had taken place at an address in Darnley Street between January 29 and February 27 – with two televisions, two pairs of trainers and some cash reported stolen.

Following enquiries, Stephan Adi, of Darnley Street, Gravesend, was arrested on Monday March 2 and charged with robbery, burglary and fraud.
