A MAN has appeared in court accused of the kidnap and rape of a teenage girl in Gravesend on Friday, May 23.

Salim Yousif, 27, of Valley Drive, Gravesend, appeared at Dartford Magistrates Court yesterday (Wednesday).

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on June 9.
