Man taken to hospital and two arrests after 'mass brawl' in Wrotham Road, Gravesend

A man was taken to hospital following a "brawl" in a street last night.

Police were called to Wrotham Road, Gravesend, at the junction with Arthur Street, at around 8pm to reports of an altercation between a group of men.

One man, aged 34, and a 16-year-old boy were arrested after a man in his 40s was taken to hospital.

An eyewitness said: "There was a mass fight with up to 20 males attacking each other for 10 minutes before police arrived.

"A man was laying in the middle of the road with head injuries as people watched on shocked by the brawl.

"There was a cordon in place in Wrotham Road after officers arrived."
