Man taken to hospital after being dragged from lake in Gordon Park, Gravesend

A man who fell in the lake at a park in Gravesend has been rescued by passers-by.
People helped rescue the man when he fell in the water shortly after 8am.
Officers and paramedics were called out to help the man at Gordon Park near Gordon Promenade.
It is thought he accidentally fell in the lake and after he was dragged out of the water, paramedics took him to hospital as he was suffering from hypothermia.
Police spokesman, Vicki Foster, said: "Kent Police was called at 8.08am to a report of a man being seen in the water near Gordon Promenade, Gravesend.
South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman Brian Cumming added: "At 08.11 this morning we responded with a car and ambulance to a man who had been dragged out of the lake in the leisure area near the Café Gordon in Gravesend by members of the public.
"Police also supported and the patient was taken to Darent Valley Hospital with hypothermia.
"We would like to thank the members of the public who assisted in helping the patient out of the water."
