Ebbsfleet are gearing up for a week which could make or break their survival bid at the bottom of Blue Square Bet Premier.

Saturday’s home game against Stockport County is followed by the visit of Hereford United on Tuesday and manager Liam Daish (pictured) admitted the double-header was "massive" for his side.

Victory over fellow strugglers Gateshead last weekend has brought the feelgood factor back to Stonebridge Road.

The Fleet must build on that result if they are to drag themselves closer to safety and Daish has urged his players to draw confidence from their performance against the Tynesiders.

He said: "It’s going to be a massive week for us. We’re still bottom, we know that, but we’re 90 minutes from another win.

"The players dug in on Saturday and you feel better about yourself the whole week, leading into the next game. It tees us up for a big week next week."

The Fleet will be without midfielder Ashley Carew as he completes a three-game suspension but Joe Howe should be fit despite hobbling off during the win over Gateshead.
