A woman’s body has been found in a Gravesend town centre flat.

The 42-year-old was discovered dead by a relative at a property in Trinty Road on Wednesday morning.

Officers from North Kent Police were called just after 10am and are not investigating the death.

A police spokeswoman said: "Police are not treating the death as suspicious at this time and the coroner’s office has been informed."

A post-mortem examination on the woman’s body is yet to be held.
