A teenage girl who had been missing since Monday has been safely located.

Shayla-Mae Carter was reported missing from the Rochester Road area of Gravesend on Monday.

An appeal for information was launched by police to find the girl who had connections to the Welling, Plumstead, Woolwich and Greenwich areas.

She has since been found.
