Ebbsfleet's owners have rejected a cheeky £10,000 bid from Blue Square Premier rivals York for defender Darius Charles.

Just over 2,000 MyFootballClub members voted on the offer for Charles, who was player-of-the-year at Stonebridge Road last season.

A total of 1,977 rejected the bid with just 60 members choosing to accept the offer.

Owners are also voting on whether to accept a £30,000 offer for striker Michael Gash, who only joined the Fleet from Cambridge City last summer.

A decision is due to be made on that bid tomorrow afternoon.
