Parts of a town's streets have been plastered with kind messages written in chalk.

Messages including "It's nice to be nice, try it", and "life really is too short and we all realise that... in the end" have been spotted on the floor in Gravesend.

They were seen on the floor during National Suicide Prevention Day on Tuesday, September 10, and it's unknown who scrawled the mystery messages.

Other artwork included chalk drawings of hearts and a tribute that read: "Stephen Lossy, 1973-2019, RIP."
