October overnight A2 road closures as work continues on Bean and Ebbsfleet interchange improvements

The latest phase of overnight closures on the A2 kick off this week as part of works on a £112m junction upgrade.
The road will be closed for 12 days starting from tonight to allow for the Bean and Ebbsfleet interchange upgrades to continue.
National Highways South East say the roadworks will shut the A2 Londonbound carriageway between Ebbsfleet and the M25 and A2 Pepperhill London-bound entry slip road from 9.30pm until 6am.
The A2 coastbound carriageway from M25 junction 2 to Ebbsfleet will be closed from 10pm to 6am and A2 Bean coastbound and A2 Ebbsfleet coastbound exit slip roads from 9.30pm until 6am.
The following road closures will also be coming into effect over the next week:
- Tuesday, October 19 to Friday, October 22 (four nights): A2 Ebbsfleet London-bound exit slip road from 9.30pm to 6am, A2 coastbound carriageway from M25 junction 2 to Ebbsfleet from 10pm to 6am and A2 Bean coastbound exit slip road closed from 9.30pm.
- Saturday, October 23: A2 Ebbsfleet London-bound exit slip road from 9.30pm to 6am, A2 coastbound carriageway from M25 junction 2 to Ebbsfleet from 10pm to 6am and A2 Bean coastbound exit slip road closed from 9.30pm.
- Sunday, October 24: A2 Ebbsfleet London-bound exit slip road from 9.30pm to 6am.
- Monday, October 25: A2 London-bound carriageway from Ebbsfleet to the M25, A2 Pepperhill London-bound entry slip road and A2 coastbound carriageway between the exit and entry slip roads at Bean from 9.30pm to 6am.
- Tuesday, October 26 to Friday, October 29 (four nights): A2 Bean London-bound entry and exit slip roads, A2 Pepperhill London-bound entry slip road, A296 Watling Street between Darenth Wood Road roundabout and the Bean Lane roundabout, B255/Bluewater Parkway southbound and Bean north roundabout, and Bean Lane in both directions between the north and south roundabouts from 9.30pm to 6am.
Diversion signs will be in place for motorists with the majority taking place between 9.30pm until 6am.
They follow the latest round of road closures earlier this month.
