Police called to Gravesend train station to reports of attempted robbery

Several police cars were spotted after an incident at a busy railway station.

Officers were called after a reported attempted robbery at Gravesend station yesterday afternoon.

Police were called to Gravesend train station on Monday afternoon

Police were at the scene for at least an hour after they were called at 3.38pm.

A witness walking past the station shortly after 4.30pm said there were four vehicles parked up on the Rathmore Road side.

A spokesman for British Transport Police confirmed police attended but on arrival the victim did not wish to make any allegations.
