Man taken to hospital after 2am incident in Darnley Road, Gravesend

A man has been taken to hospital, and a second man arrested after an early morning incident.

Officers and paramedics were called to Darnley Road, Gravesend , at around 2.30am where a man in his 40s was found injured.

The incident happened at around 2.30am in Darnley Road, Gravesend

He was taken to a London hospital for treatment while police shut the road to carry out inquiries to determine how he was hurt.

The force arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with the incident.

Staff at The Hollies care home who were coming in for their shift at 5am said they saw two smashed up cars in the road.

Another added how when he arrived for work at 8.30am the road was still shut off by police.
