Police investigating ‘suspicious incident’ in Gravesend after man spotted with unidentified weapon

Police want to speak to two men after a person was spotted with an “unidentified weapon” in the town.

Detectives are now investigating the “suspicious incident” which happened on Tuesday at around 8pm.

It comes after witnesses reported seeing a man with a weapon in East Milton Road, Gravesend.

He is alleged to have met another person in the road before they stopped at a side road and spoke. They then went their separate ways.

A police spokesman added: “Following the incident officers arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with the investigation. He remains in custody while inquiries continue.”
