Police are giving residents advice after a spate of burglaries over the weekend.

Three homes in Downs Road and Istead Rise, Gravesend, had power tools, horse tack and quad bike stolen from their sheds on Saturday December 15 and Sunday December 16.

No suspects have been identified.

Police say it is known for thieves to target outbuildings when evenings are darker and residents are likely to be out celebrating the festive season.

They have advised a number of steps to take to reduce any chance of becoming a victim to this crime.
