Suspects in Chatham assault arrested by Echo pub in Gravesend

At least two suspects in an assault have been arrested by police outside a pub - in a town 10 miles away from the attack.

At least half a dozen officers were spotted outside the Echo pub in Echo Square in Gravesend this evening.

Police had tracked down the suspects of an assault in High Street, Chatham, which happened at about 4.15pm this afternoon.

Some time later, officers tracked down the suspects in Gravesend, where they were arrested.

Two men can be seen sat against the fence to the pub garden on Whitehill Road on the approach to the square.

No one is reported to have suffered any injuries as a result of the assault.
