A classic Christmas panto with a twist, The Woodville’s Beauty and the Beast is fun for all the family, with wacky and witty costumes.
The cast, including Eastenders star Aaron Sidwell, and Gravesend favourite, Robert Pearce, bring surprises and comedy that are sure to make all the family smile.
Forget all you know about the classic fairy tale, this slapstick showdown may stray far from the familiar storyline but no one minds.
The slick script contains innuendo and naughty suggestions which will appeal to the parents while floating over the heads of the younger members of the audience.
The Woodville in Gravesend is such a fitting venue, with friendly staff, festive decor and amazing acoustics.
The colourful set, talented musicians and slick lighting system added to the joyous memories I was reliving from my childhood.
I attended this show with my dad and, although he had a few initial reservations, he was soon laughing and clapping along with the rest of the audience.
As soon as the curtains lifted and this well-rehearsed show began smiles were plastered across everyone’s faces the entire evening.
Throughout the panto look out for the amazing projection display on the stage.
It is certain to blow you away and help transport you into the wonderful, enchanted world of Belle and her friends!
With fantastic dancing, singing and jokes, specially written to appeal to the North Kent audience, Beauty and the Beast is great fun and perfect for getting you into the festive spirit!
Beauty and the Beast will be showing at The Woodville until New Year's Day.
