A road has been closed following a crash between a motorbike and a car.

Police and paramedics were called to the incident in A226 Thames Way, Northfleet at 7.49am.

Emergency services are currently at the scene and the motorcyclist is being treated for his injuries.

It is understood his injuries are not life-threatening.

Thames Way is is currently closed while arrangements are being made to recover the vehicles.

According to traffic monitoring tool Inrix, there is queueing traffic from A2260 Ebbsfleet Gateway to B2175 Springhead Road.

It also reports congestion to the A2260 which is queuing back to the A2.

The ambulance service has been contacted for a comment.
