May Queen Lottie Tearle took pride of place in her vintage car as she led the parade for the Meopham May Fair.
The 10-year-old rode in the classic motor alongside princesses Hollie Cousins, 11 and Tabitha Fairclough also 10, for the occasion, which was staged on Bank Holiday Monday
Scores of villagers went along to watch the parade which set off from the Meophan Railway Station, in Wrotham Road.
Pupils from the Meopham Community Academy took part in it and dancers from the Amelia Appleby School of Performing Arts also strutted their stuff for the crowds.
Headteacher of Meopham Community Academy, Rebecca Nicholson, said: "It was a fantastic day and wonderful to see so many parents and children from the school, as well as a great many people from the local community attending and showing their support of the school.
"The parade was led by a vintage steam engine, with children in reception, year one and six travelling on floats and children from Playpen, our preschool, travelling on a Route Master bus.
