A man suffered deep cuts and bruises after reportedly being repeatedly punched in the face.
Kent Police is appealing for information following an alleged serious assault in Gravesend.
It was reported that the victim, a 46-year-old man knew his attacker and was sitting in a grey BMW with him in Romulus Road.
Following a disagreement the man was punched on numerous occasions before being driven to Canal Road. The passenger door was open and the victim was shouting from inside.
Inquiries into the incident are ongoing and there have been no arrests. It happened at around 5.40pm and 6pm on Sunday, March 20.
DC Adella Prescott said: "The Canal Road area would have been busy at that time of day so we are hopeful somebody may have seen or heard something.
"The victim is reported to have been shouting as he was being driven in the car, and is likely to have attracted some attention to himself.
