Several people charged after burglaries in Dartford, Gravesham, Swale and Medway as part of Operation Castle

More people have been arrested and charged by officers investigating a number of break-ins across Dartford, Gravesham, Swale and Medway.

The arrests are part of Operation Castle, a police crackdown on burglaries.

Traditionally, there is a rise in break-ins at this time of year, due to the longer evenings and more people leaving their homes to go shopping or visit friends and family.

Operation Castle is held every year, to raise awareness and educate people about how to protect their homes from criminals. It runs until Friday, January 13.

A number of people suspected of breaking in to people’s homes and businesses have been released on bail in recent weeks as inquiries continue.
