This smashed car covered in police tape has been abandoned on the road side for almost two weeks after a crash which saw a woman taken to hospital.

The collision happened on January 9 in Wrotham Road, Meopham, when the driver of one car crashed into the back of another.

A spokeswoman for South East Coast Ambulance service said: “We dispatched a single responder vehicle and two ambulance crews.

This car was smashed up and a woman had to be taken to hospital after a crash in Wrotham Road, Meopham

"One of the drivers, a 22-year-old woman was treated at the scene for potential back injuries and was subsequently taken to Medway Maritime hospital.”

The car is still at the scene, near the veterinary hospital.

A police spokeswoman confirmed their dealings with the incident would have ceased after the crash – and it is the owner’s responsibility to move the car.
