Man arrested after staff at betting shop in King Street, Gravesend, 'threatened with knife'

A man has been arrested after staff at a betting shop were 'threatened with a knife'.

The incident happened in King Street, Gravesend, at around 8pm on Monday March 11.

A man allegedly walked into the shop and used a knife to threaten a staff member, before taking a large quantity of cash and leaving.

Officers investigating carried out inquiries before arrested a man in his 30s from Gravesend yesterday on suspicion of robbery.

Inquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
