A stalking scaffolder threatened to kill himself if his former partner did not see him, a court heard.
Amateur strongman Craig Ring, of Old Road West, Gravesend, left numerous texts and voice messages on Natasha Eaton’s phone between Friday, March 2 and Wednesday, March 28, leaving her beaten down and in fear.
Ring, who had previously been convicted for harassment and battery with the same victim, accused her of having an affair with an ex-partner after she started working at The Rose pub in Perry Street, Northfleet.
He had previously grabbed the woman, who he'd had an on-and-off relationship with for three months, around the throat on Wednesday, January 17.
Prosecuting, Susanna Mitchell, said: “When the defendant and the injured party resumed their relationship all was good to begin with but it changed when she was working at the pub.”
On Saturday, March 3, Ring knocked on the victims door in Norfolk Road at 5.30am where they had an altercation and was told to leave.
On Wednesday, March 14, Ring was seen by Natasha Eaton outside the pub, which has since closed, while she was working.
Just over 10 days later the victim blocked Ring’s number after he started leaving voicemails.
Ring started to call and text her on a withheld number.
Among the number of messages left on Natasha Eaton’s phone, Ring said: “I don’t want to be together anymore, I don’t want to sleep with a s***.”
Another message he left was: “I’m just f***ing missing you.”

On a separate occasion he also said: “What’s going on, why are you ignoring all my phone calls.”
The defence, represented by barrister Holly Kilby, pointed out that the two were in contact at times between voice messages and that he lived close to the pub Natasha Eton worked in.
Ring had threatened violence to the man he accused of sleeping with his former partner.
During an interview with the police, Ring said: “No man would like his partner working in a pub.”
In a witness statement, Natasha Eaton, said: “I do not want to be contacted by Craig anymore.
“He has left me feeling beaten down.
“I have not been on anti depressants for a number of years but I have to go back on them.
“I feel scared and threatened of him.
“Craig has told me he will make sure no one else will love me.
“I’m very concerned about my safety.”
The 40-year-old pleaded guilty to stalking at Medway Magistrates on Thursday, May 24.
He was fined £600 for a late plea.
Ring was refused bail and has been remanded in custody where he awaits sentencing at Maidstone Crown Court.
