Three people, including a 15-year-old boy, have been arrested after two cars were stolen during a burglary.

Thieves struck at 4.30am yesterday morning at a house in Seven Acres, New Ash Green, while the owners were asleep.

They broke in and stole the keys before making off in the vehicles.

Police stopped the car at 11pm on the A2. Stock picture.

One of the cars was seen by officers at 2pm yesterday in Chestnut Road, Dartford, where it collided with a stationary car and came to a halt.

The three occupants left the scene on foot and officers subsequently arrested a 20-year-old man, a 31-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy, all from Dartford, on suspicion of burglary.

All three were later bailed to return to the police station on Thursday, February 15.
