Two teenagers had their mobile phones stolen by a man thought to have been wielding a gun.

The pair were robbed outside a parade of shops close to the McColl's newsagent and post office in Wrotham Road, Meopham.

The two 15-year-olds were walking in the direction of Istead Rise when a white car stopped next to them between midnight and 12.15am on Bank Holiday Monday, August 27.

A man is then said to have got out of the passenger side of the car, approached the boys, threatened them with what was believed to be a gun and demanded their phone and wallets.

The teenagers handed over their phones and some loose change and the suspect then got back into the car which drove away.
