A housebuilding company has raised more than £36,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Last year, Ebbsfleet-based David Wilson Kent chose to support the UK's leading dementia charity, campaigning for change, funding research to find a cure and supporting people living with dementia.
Sam Edwards, community fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Society in Kent and East Sussex, said: “We are extremely grateful to David Wilson Kent for all of the time and energy they put into their Charity of the Year partnership with Alzheimer’s Society."
David Wilson Homes was involved in a number of fundraisers, including a barn dance with an auction, a summer barbecue at David Wilson’s head office, dress down days and cake sales.
Natalie Perry, sales and marketing director for David Wilson Kent, said: “We are extremely proud of the fundraising efforts of all our staff throughout 2019, and are delighted to present the final amount to the charity.”
David Wilson Kent’s Castle Hill development is in Ebbsfleet Valley.
